The Badger Football program is preparing two separate plans for the 2009 season concerning the Freshman football Program.   Due to budget cuts that we experienced in the 2008 season the Frosh team only got budgeted 5 games instead of playing a full 10 game season.   We did invite all Frosh players and coaches up to the JV team that wanted to continue playing the remainder of the season.  We won't have the final information concerning the 2009 season until the new fiscal year comes around which should happen sometime after the new year.  Scenario #1 is we continue with two teams and get the Frosh a five game season and move them to JV like this season or scenario #2 is we don't have a Frosh team and move all Frosh players on to one Frosh/Soph JV team.  Either way our Football Staff will try to accommodate our students the best way possible and to grow our program into champions at all levels.
