running game behind 5-foot-9, 170-pound
senior Cody Essary and last year's second
team all-league runner, and 5-foot-9,
165-pound senior Trevor McConnell, Yosemite
High's Aaron Eames begins his 15th season as
the Badger's head varsity football coach.

Leadership - Leadership is so
important not only in sports but also in
life. In our program we are asking
our kids to play a vital role to be a
stand up guy and lead by example.
It's not always the team captains that
are the only leaders but everybody on
the team that plays the role. We
use this as a training ground for our
players to be future leaders in our
communities and in their own families.
Someday these men are going to need to
lead their families to success by being
a positive role model to their children.
